The attributes not from BCPAO parcels data is provided to GIS staff from the Planning Department. The maximum impervious (sq ft) value is calculated by multiplying the square footage of the parcel by the allowable maximum percent impervious coverage.

The City of Titusville regulates the impervious surfaces on certain properties. This data illustrates the maximum allowable impervious coverage for single family residential lots. Impervious additions to a piece of land include, but are not limited to, houses, driveways, pools, sheds, et cetera. The majority of the properties are located within the City’s Area of Critical Concern (ACC). The ACC is an aquifer protection area in the City. The ACC regulations impose restrictions on development projects, such as limits on the amount of impervious surfaces, the maximum excavation depth on land, the removal of soil from a property, as well as controlling the type, sizing, and design of stormwater management facilities. A few subdivisions located outside of the ACC include a maximum impervious condition specific to that development. The impervious limitations provided in this data are for informational purposes only. The maximum allowable impervious coverage calculations are in square feet or in some cases a percentage of the lot. The maximum coverages were derived from the residential subdivision plat recorded in the Brevard County Clerk’s official records or from the site plan approved by the City of Titusville. More accurate information may be obtained with a property survey.

Applicable City of Titusville Ordinances or Land Development Regulation updates:

Ordinance No. 42-1986 (15 July 1986 to 1990), City of Titusville Code of Ordinances Chapter 8A-30.1 Area of Critical Concern

LDR Update (1990 to 10 May 2005), Land Development Regulation Chapter 35-61 Area of Critical Concern Performance Standards

Ordinance No. 21-2005 (10 May 2005 to 2017), Land Development Regulation Chapter 35-59 Area of Critical Concern Performance Standards

LDR Update (2017 to Present), Land Development Regulation Chapter 30-207 Area of Critical Concern Performance

|
